He was born in Barcelona in 1978. He began to play the electric guitar at the age of 12, having his father as his teacher. At the age of 14, he began his classical guitar studies at the Ataulfo Argenta Conservatory in Santander (Spain) with Professor Juan José Gallego. Later he entered the “Jesús de Monasterio” Professional Conservatory in Santander and continued his classical guitar studies with Paulino García Blanco. During this period, he studied advanced courses with prestigious classical guitar teachers such as Miguel Trápaga, Maria Esther Guzmán, Zoran Dukiç, Gerardo Arriaga, José Luis Rodrigo, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, among others. A versatile musician, during his apprenticeship years in Santander he trained as a guitarist in various styles of modern music, such as Jazz, Rock or Pop, and dance bands. Due to his interest in exploring various musical styles, he began to study plucked string instruments of the Renaissance and Baroque. Later he decides to dedicate himself to these instruments when he enters the Royal Superior Conservatory of Music in Madrid. There he studied with the concert player José Miguel Moreno. Upon finishing his degree, he entered the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland) to study with Hopkinson Smith. He also has the opportunity to train at the Zurcher Musikhochschule with teacher Eduardo Egüez. 

In his career as a soloist, he has the privilege of taking part in different projects with the best orchestras, highlighting the Berlin Philharmonic under the direction of Andrea Marcon and the English baroque soloist and Monteverdi choir under the direction of Sir John Elliot Gardiner. With the latter he made several tours of Europe and the USA. Other prestigious orchestras and chamber music groups with which he has worked are Il giardino armonico, Venice baroque orchestra, Les musiciens du Louvre, La Cetra baroque orchestra, Florilegium, Münchener-kammerorchester, Kammerorchester Basel, Radio Sinfonie Orchester Frankfurt, NDR Radiophilarmonie orchester . It has been directed by directors such as Andrea Marcon, Giovanni Antonini, Jean Christoph Spinosi, Paul Goodwin, Gabriel Garrido, Sir John Elliot Gardiner, Marc Minkowski, Robert King, Philippe Herreweghe, Christian Curnyn among others. He has had the opportunity to accompany singers of the stature of Placido Domingo, Philippe Jarousky, Patricia Petibon, Magdalena Kozcena, Franco Fagioli, among others. He also has the opportunity to work in different theatrical, dance, opera and oratory shows with companies such as the National Classical Theater Company, Opernhaus Zürich, Teather Basel, Opernhaus Frankfurt, Opernhaus Kassel and Opernhaus Freiburg. He develops his concert activity in the majority of important theaters and concert halls in the world such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, Philharmonie de Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, among others. These projects are part of the most important music and theater festivals around the world.

He is a founding member of the historicist group Il Profondo, based in Basel, Switzerland.
